The weather is starting to warm up and so are we. The expansion of FOODLOGICA and WASTED’s ongoing work with the Municipality of Amsterdam through the Start-up In Residence Program means we have plenty of opportunities! Take a look at the positions open at CITIES Foundation, FOODLOGICA and WASTED.

 

FOODLOGICA is looking for an Operating Manager for 4 days a week. We are looking for a team member who aspires to join the managing team as a shareholder in the coming year, with experience at scaling up impact in a socially oriented business. First and foremost, this professional figure should have deep knowledge about the local context and very well connected in the local sustainable food network.

 

There are opening for more E-triker drivers to join the team. Primarily, driver will ride solar-powered electric trikes around Amsterdam, while meeting amazing people producing amazing food. This job comes with ensuring all cargo is safely transported on schedule, clients are happy and bikes remain in good condition. It’s therefore important that you have knowledge of bikes and Amsterdam, pay attention to detail and are someone who takes responsibility and ownership of your professional work.

 

Intern positions are available! Join the FOODLOGICA team.  In your role you will help manage daily operations and contact with clients and drivers. You will manage the schedule of solar-powered electric trikes around Amsterdam through our simple software system while meeting amazing people producing amazing food.

 

WASTED is looking for an Intern to help with operation. We are expanding our recycling program to paper, glass, and textiles, in addition to plastic. We are currently putting most of our attention on activating the community to join WASTED and become either a WASTED Neighbor or WASTED Rewarder. On our Urban Activation team, you’ll join us (CITIES and WASTED) in blazing new trails towards tomorrow’s circular, social and sustainable cities.

 

CITIES Foundation would like to invite a new board member into the team. CITIES is looking into global expansion. We are proven researchers and innovators in local urban contexts. Now the time to share our achievements and expand our reach has come. We are looking for a new member for the Foundation Advisory Board to support CITIES’ social enterprises growth, connectivity and general professionalization. The board members responsibilities are:

– Review the audited annual accounts once a year

– Review our progress twice a year and advise on strategic directions.

– Help to conceptualise yearly reports and visions

– Advise on our social enterprise (FOODLOGICA and WASTED) business progress and impact developments

– Be available for an average of 20 hours per year and provide a long term commitment.
