Background
Taste this! presented four visionary speakers; Francesca Miazzo of Farming the City from CITIES together with Allison Guy of the Next Nature Network, Natascha Hagenbeek from I Can Change the World with my Two Hands and Martin Kullik of Steinbeisser Experimental Gastronomy. The event is a casual meet up with a combination of drinks and essential issues talk. Through this meet up, we simply investigate how our system is having its lag, intricate and beyond control and how we must embrace complexity and learn to growth strategic ideas start from local initiatives.

Four speakers bring out their experiences, studies and images. The first presentation was from the guys of Steinbeisser Experimental Gastronomy, which described on new food experiences that change the eating habits. Afterwards, the evening continued with the presentation from I Can Change the World with my Two Hands on growing vegetables locally with the community by using unoccupied land. Then after, we presented Farming the City and our local food initiatives and urban agriculture. Closing presentation, was made by Next Nature Network on Vitro Meat and reconsideration on the growth food technology.

Taste This! is a tast of the vision at large, why and how we need to re think the relationship between people, nature and technology. New ideas on innovative patterns of cooperation among local actors could promote the most effective re-localization of food also in highly urbanized areas as subversive market strategies against the mainstream monopolized system.
